World Water Day 2009

Dr. Raouf is the Chair of an Executive Circle on our Platform for Networks, entitled "Water Conflicts".  This Executive Circle was created in time for, and to raise awreness of, the World Water Day 2009, with the theme being transboundary waters: sharing water, sharing opportunities.

Along with the issues contained in his summary he has also posed a question, both of which invite responses:

"What ideas do you have to prevent water scarcity and how do these prevent water conflicts?"
